I'm a founder, operator, and writer based in the Western Cape. Most of my work sits inside The Open Letter Media Group, where I work alongside my co-founder Jason and a small team to build media products for the people shaping South Africa's next economy.

Before The Open Letter, I spent years inside the South African tech scene, building agencies, advising founders, and learning that the most interesting companies often do their best work long before anyone is paying attention. That is the gap we are trying to close.

I also serve on the boards of Paladin Technology, a private equity investment firm, Matrix Software, a leader in food processing software in Africa, and Silvertree Education, a non-profit Christian tertiary education institution.

Outside of work, I'm a husband, a dad to three girls, and someone who loves Jesus. We're active in our church community in Stellenbosch, where I teach at our Bible night school and help lead the families ministry.
